Quote and Thoughts

“A man cannot understand the art he is studying if he only looks for the end result without taking the time to delve deeply into the reasoning of the study.”  – Miyamoto Musashi

Being wealthy, having a six pack and big muscles, being able to shred the guitar or elegantly play the piano It is Human nature to want the quick fix, the magic bullet, the easy solution, we are obsessed with the reward, the outcome that we so desire without the slightest consideration of the steps or effort that is required to achieve it, we simply want it to happen.

The saying goes “Rome wasn’t built in a day” and anything worthwhile usually takes well… a while. It’s only once we begin to understand and focus on the individual steps which lead to an outcome rather than the outcome itself that we can begin to make progress.

It’s tough to reach the destination if you can’t enjoy the journey. So learn to enjoy the journey.
